"Tough Love", the next track from Avicii's posthumous album "TIM" is out now. Co-writers and co-producers Vargas and Lagola- as well as Swedish recording artist Agnes- helped to bring the song to life, trying to keep it as faithful to Avicii's demo as possible. Vargas and Lagola are Grammy Award winners who have worked with Avicii on "Hey Brother", "Silhouettes" and more. The track stands out from previous work, as the melody reflects the time that Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) spent studying the music of North India.

Bergling had expressed that he wanted a real couple to provide the vocals for the track, so Lagola (Vincent Pontare) brought his wife Agnes Carlsson along and they recorded it together. Carlsson found fame after winning the second season of Swedish Idol in 2005, her 2008 hit "Release Me" is still perhaps one of her most famous to date.

This single is the second to be released from the upcoming album, after "SOS" which came out last month. All proceeds from the album will go towards the Tim Bergling Foundation, an organization set up by the artists parents which aims to raise awareness around mental health and environmental issues. The news follows the announcement that an official Avicii biography will be published next year, with proceeds from that also going towards the foundation.

The full album is set to be released on the 6th June.
