On Thursday (April 23), Houston-based rapper Travis Scott took over Fortnite for his out-of-this-world ‘Astronomical’ tour— with four more shows scheduled for the rest of this week. The event has been praised for its flawless production and mind-blowing visuals, taking livestream concerts to a whole new level. If you didn’t manage to catch it yourself then watch the clips below, because words aren’t enough to do it justice.

The set was far shorter than a usual concert, finishing after just 15 minutes, but that didn’t stop 12 million fans from tuning in to watch. Fortnite’s developer Epic Games has since confirmed that the number of concert viewers broke an “all-time record”, completely obliterating Marshmello’s previous record of 10.7 million. However, that figure doesn’t even represent the full number of attendees, as many viewed it on other streaming platforms like YouTube and Twitch.

During the show, Travis appeared as both a cyborg and a giant towering over the crowd, whilst viewers were treated to a series of psychedelic visuals sent them racing around rollercoasters and plunging underwater.

Prior to the Astronomical performance, a Fortnite skin resembling Travis was leaked online, which was the first sign that the rapper and the gaming company had a joint project in the pipeline. In the days leading up to the concert, gamers noticed constructed beginning to take place at the Sweaty Sands beach. A black stage was erected on top of the water, and the rapper’s signature gold, inflated heads surrounded it. Those who missed out can read a full review on The Verge.

Here are the dates and times for each ‘Astronomical’ show this week.
