SHVR Ground: Indonesia's Fantasy Festival

Jakarta-based festival invites you to their "Galaxia Voyage", Lineup Phase 2 just announced.

Now in its 4th year running, SHVR Ground Festival is one of South East Asia’s most up-and-coming music festivals, showcasing some of the best EDM artists from around the globe every year.

For each installment, attendees (or Shiverians) are treated to a unique, other-worldly theme so that once you step through the festival gates it’s as if you’ve entered another universe. In 2019, SHVR Ground invites music-lovers to join in as they embark on their ‘Galaxia Voyage’, which will take place at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE). This enormous venue, which is hailed as the biggest convention and exhibition centre in the entire country, will be transformed into a cosmic wonderland come September.

SHVR Lineup Phase 2 Revealed

In 2018, the packed lineup included acts like Rita Ora, Alison Wonderland, Disclosure, Nicky Romero and Alan Walker. Over the weekend, SHVR Ground illuminated Jakarta’s skies with mesmerising light shows and fireworks, whilst the three ‘Russian Cosmic’ themed stages brought a taste of the Arctic to South East Asia.

This time round, SHVR's Phase 1 lineup included a collection of huge artists, such as Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Brennan Heart, Darius, Ørjan Jilsen and Timmy Trumpet. From this list alone festival-goers can expect to hear seriously impressive EDM, House, Trance, Hardstyle and more.

Phase 2 was just recently announced, revealing more international and local acts who will be performing over the weekend. Newly added to the bill are British electronic duo Snakehips, who are best known for their 2015 hit "All My Friends" and who this year released "Gucci Rock N Rolla"- a collaboration with KYLE and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo. Canadian DJ Ekali will also be making an appearance, the instrumentalist and producer played at EDC Last Vegas last month, bringing Illenium out as a surprise guest to show off their new track together.
